Admin Permissions

Permission Details

From the perspective of Jodoo usage, users in Jodoo can be divided into four types: Business Owner, Super Admins, Regular Admins, and regular members. Admin permissions mainly refer to the permissions of the Business Owner, Super Admins, and Regular Admins. These permissions include Contacts management permissions and app editing permissions.

1. Contacts Management Permissions

Contacts management permissions include the permission to add admins and the visibility and management permissions for depts and roles.

Permission to Add Admins

Only the Business Owner and Super Admins have permission to add admins.

The authorization relationships among admins are as follows:

  • The Business Owner can add Super Admins and Regular Admins.

  • Super Admins can add other Super Admins and Regular Admins.

Visibility and Management Permissions for Depts and Roles

The visibility and management permissions held by admins are as follows:

  • The Business Owner and Super Admins have full visibility and management permissions for all Contacts, including all depts and roles.

  • Regular Admins have visibility and management permissions only for specified depts and roles.

2. App Editing Permissions

App editing permissions refer to the permissions involved in the app-building process, including app settings, form design, workflow configuration, and dashboard design.

In Jodoo, the Business Owner and Super Admins have management and editing permissions for all apps. After Regular Admins are granted app permissions, they can have management permissions for specified apps.

The app settings permissions held by the Business Owner/Super Admins and Regular Admins are as follows:

Can have permission. The app must first be added in Admins >> Admin Group before the Regular Admin can modify it.

Add/delete apps

Have permission

Can have permission. The app must first be added in Admins >> Admin Group, and the Add/Delete Apps switch must be enabled before the Regular Admin can add or delete apps.

Copy apps

Have permission

Cannot have permission.

Form Design Permissions

Form design permissions refer to the permissions to configure form-related content when designing forms.

The form design permissions held by the Business Owner/Super Admins and Regular Admins are as follows:

Create/edit/switch/copy/delete/move forms

Have permission

Can have permission. The app must first be added in Admins >> Admin Group before the Regular Admin can have form design permissions under that app.

Workflow Design Permissions

Workflow design permissions refer to the permissions to configure workflow-related content.

The workflow design permissions held by the Business Owner/Super Admins and Regular Admins are as follows:

Dashboard Design Permissions

Dashboard design permissions refer to the permissions to design dashboards in Jodoo.

The dashboard design permissions held by the Business Owner/Super Admins and Regular Admins are as follows:
