Introduction

Feature(s)

In a gallery view, you can view data like viewing artworks in a gallery. The gallery view mainly displays images and text in a card-like style.

Application Scenario(s)

The gallery view is commonly used to display product information, project information, and so on. For example:

  • In the case of project management, the gallery view can be used to display project basic information and design drafts.
  • In the case of warehouse management, the gallery view can be used to showcase product images and storage locations, allowing warehouse staff to locate corresponding products based on the images quickly.

Setting Procedure

Creating a View

1. Select a form, and click Edit.

Go to Publish > Views, and click New View.

2. In addition to creating views in Publish > Views, an admin with corresponding view permissions can also create views by clicking New in the permission set.

Basic Settings of a View

On the setting page, rename the view name as Gallery View. Select PC under Default Style, and select Gallery under Type.

Setting Display Fields

You can set which fields can be displayed and whether to display field names:

Note:

1. Display field settings take effect only when the view displays by default. This will not influence fields displayed when you view a single record or fill out the form.

2. Members can only see fields within their permissions. They can also set display fields when viewing records, and this will not be influenced by the settings of display fields here.

3. You can set up to 12 display fields.

Cover Image

You can set the cover image for data and the image needs to come from the following form fields:

  • Image
  • Signature

For the cover image, you can set the display position and display method:

Card Size and Title

Records are displayed as cards in the gallery view, and the card size can be set to Small, Medium, and Large. The Medium card size is as follows.

The card title is consistent with the record title and cannot be customized. To change the card title, you can only change the record title.

Sorting

1. Sort fields.

Field order is the sequence of fields displayed in the view. You can adjust it when setting the view:

Note:

1. Field order settings take effect only when the view displays by default. This will not influence fields displayed when you view a single record or fill out the form.

2. You can set field order only when Display Fields is set to Custom.

2. Sort records.

Sorting records refers to row sorting, which controls the display order of records in rows. Click Add Sort under Default Sorting Rules, then customize a sorting order.

Note:

Each field can only be included in a sorting rule once, and you can add a maximum of five sorting rules.

Filter Conditions

Go to Default Filter Conditions, and add filter conditions according to your needs.

Note:

When you filter data based on the Date&Time field, you can set a dynamic filter condition. Set the filter relationship as is within, you can select the following filter values:

Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow, This Week, Last Week, Next Week, This Month, Last Month, Next Month, This Quarter, Last Quarter, Next Quarter, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Year, Last Year, Next Year.

Saving and Setting Application Scope

After all settings are completed, click Save. If you save the gallery view for the first time, you can set its application scope directly. For details, see Views in Permission Sets on PC.

Granting Permissions

Grant permissions to members to use this view.

Demonstration

1. Batch settings.

Select multiple records, then export, delete, and edit them in batches.

a. Select all records.

Click Select All to select all records.

b. Batch-edit records.

For example, you can change the project leader in batches.
