Creating Your First App

What is App?

App is a software designed to run inside Jodoo browser. An app contains various features including Form, Workflow, and Dashboard. Therefore, if you want to create forms and workflows, the first thing is to build an app.

You can create your own app in Jodoo and set different features to meet your needs. The image below shows how the App is related to Form, Workflow, and Dashboard.

How to Run an App

Step 1 Adding a New App

Click New App in Workspace, enter the App name, and click OK.

Step 2 Building Features

Then you can create regular forms, workflow forms, dashboards in the App as needed. Here is a list for you to learn specific steps to build basic features in Apps.

When to Use App

Creating an App is the prerequisite for any post functions.

For example, in personnel management, you can create an app named Personnel Management System. And then, you can create some forms to store data, such as Employee Information, Resignation Application Form, Employee Address Book, and so on. So, you can use this App for employee registration, resignation review, and other scenarios.
