Introduction

A glossary can help you understand some special vocabulary concepts to get started quickly.

After logging in to Jodoo, you will first go to the workspace, where you can see the overview of important information.

Term	Definition
Workspace	A workspace can be called a home page or overview. When logging in Jodoo, you will be directed to the workspace page first, which is a large collection. You can view multiple important information overviews.
Messages	In Jodoo, there are various message notifications, and all of these messages can be viewed in Messages.
Open Platform	In the open platform, users can learn how to develop based on the APIs within the product, enabling them to meet their enterprise's individualized needs through self-development or by using official or third-party service providers' developed features.
App Management	An app can be seen as a system, including various forms, dashboards, and certain features.
Contacts	Contacts is a management tool of enterprise structure. You can invite and manage member information and adjust the organizational structure in Contacts.
Super Admins	Super admins have the highest management authority. They cannot remove themselves from the management group but can manage all apps, members, and other sub-admins.
Admins	Admins can manage some apps, and manage some members except admins.
Sub-Admins	A generic term for super admins and regular admins.

Term		Definition
Form		A regular form consists of several fields and is used for data filling and collection.
Fields		Fields are used for data storage. Different fields can store different data. For example, a number field can store numeric data, and a text field can store text data.
Formula		Equations of field values are calculated from operation signs or functions. It can be a numerical operation or a determination of text.
Select Data		It is a field type that can link with data from other forms in the current form and submit the linked data directly, thereby reducing the work of entering part of the data.
Query Data		Data in other forms, aggregate tables, and data factories can be queried in the current form. The data is for query only but cannot be submitted.
Front-End Event		Front-End Event is a way of data acquisition. It can retrieve the external APIs when data are submitted or a form is filled, so that a series of operations, such as interface data retrieval, data verification, data analysis, and event triggering, can be carried out.

Term	Definition
Workflow form	A workflow form contains workflows that cannot be set in a regular form.
Configuring a Workflow	Set workflow rules for the data in a workflow form so that the data can flow according to a pre-set workflow.
Node	Each part of workflow is a node, and the data viewing permissions and approvers need to be set for each node.
Approver	Approvers are responsible for the approval of workflows. After being approved, workflow data will continue to flow.

Term	Definition
Dashboard	Use to process and analyze data. Data collected in forms can be visualized and analyzed in dashboards.
Data Component	Use to analyze data.
Text Component	Use to be input into a text component to further elaborate on the statistical data.
Image Component	Use to display images. In addition to data and text, you can also insert image elements such as corporate logos.
Filter Component	Use to filter and view collected data. In this way, you can quickly find the data you need.

In addition to primary features, many advanced features will be used for building apps later.

Term	Definition
Aggregate Table	Data in aggregate tables can be directly retrieved by the form or filtered by conditions.
Automations	Automations can also be called triggers. If the triggered conditions are met, Automations will create, update, and delete data automatically in target forms.
Data Factory	Data Factory is a tool for processing data in Jodoo. The processed data can be displayed statistically in a dashboard. If you have learned about data warehouse technology before, you may have noticed that Data Factory is like a simplified ETL tool.
Cross–App	Cross–app can help you retrieve form data from other apps. When selecting the data source, you can select forms from other apps.
