Form Management

Batch Printing Fields from the Data Source of "Select Data" Field

When batch printing data using a custom print template, for a Select Data field, you can now print fields which are selected under Fields Displayed When Selecting and Handle Selected Data. This ensures data integrity and enhances the efficiency and accuracy of batch printing.

For example, when you print the procurement contract, you can use information (such as product number, product name, and so on) from a Price List form and print them all.

Introducing Three New Styles to "Multi Tab" Field

This update introduces three new styles to the Multi Tab field, expanding the total to five styles. These enhancements meet users' demand for higher level of customization, allowing users to choose tab styles based on personal preferences and specific scenarios.

Business Process

Optimizing the "Add Formula" Field for Automations Pro

1. Support data aggregation.

This update introduces a new feature — Aggregation — to the Add Formula node. The feature enables the aggregation of specified numeric fields across multiple data entries. It allows you to perform sum, maximum value, minimum value, and average calculations. This enhancement simplifies data processing and reduces the risk of manual errors, thus enhancing data reliability.

For example, in the scenario of purchase order management, when a member places orders through a purchase order form, Automations Pro aggregates the subtotals of each order and calculates the overall total. The final result is then written back to the purchase order form.

2. Support more functions.

The original features of the Add Formula node (before Jodoo 9.0.0) are retained and can be used via Formula Calculation. After this update, Formula Calculation will support more functions as follows to meet diverse user needs:

Type

Function

Text Functions

Date Functions

Advanced Functions

General Features

Disabling "All Data with Permission"

When a member is added to multiple permission sets, admins can now disable All Data with Permission in Publish > To Member. Then the member only has permissions granted to them in certain permission sets and cannot choose the merged permission set (All Data with Permission). This enhances data security and regulatory compliance.

For example, if you disable All Data with Permission as an admin, the member Erica can check all data only under the permission set View All Data, and edit data only under Add and Manage My Data.

Organization Management

Optimizing the "Statistics" feature in All Aspects

This update rolls out an comprehensive enhancement to the Statistics feature, designed to help companies better assess benefits and manage costs on the Jodoo platform. These improvements provide admins with precise data support, enabling companies to adjust resource allocation and usage based on real-time conditions.

1. Support more data for statistical analysis.

After this update, more data about feature usage and frequency will be displayed for statistical analysis. The information will be presented across three tabs:

  • Resource Usage: offers you detailed insights into the usage of various features, including the number of apps, forms, and advanced features used by your company/team.
  • Admin Activity: enables you to monitor the activities in specific apps or by sub-admins. You can use filters to gain insights into the details you want based on different criteria, such as the number of users editing a form and the number of times a user edits a form.
  • Member Activity: enables you to view the activities related to specific apps, objects (forms/dashboards), and members. Criteria include the number of times you access apps/forms/dashboards and export data, among others.

For example, when an admin is considering whether to unpublish a dashboard, the admin can go to Member Activity > View by Object to assess how members are using the dashboard and gauge its value. This evaluation helps minimize resource waste and prevents potential inconvenience for members.

2. View usage trends.

In Resource Usage > Overview, you can now view usage trends for a particular resource by setting Date Range or filter data on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. This enables admins to better understand and anticipate resource demands, facilitating the development of efficient resource allocation strategies and preventing resource shortages.

For example, view usage trends for the data factory.

3. Export data from Statistics.

After this update, you can now export data related to resource usage, admin activities, and member activities to meet companies' demands for data analysis. This will enable company staff to conduct in-depth analysis based on business needs, providing strong support for corporate decision-making.

Note:

If you want to check your previous data in Statistics, you can go to Member Activity > View by App > Overview, and check your data on a daily basis.

Open Platform

Importing & Exporting Custom Plugins

Jodoo 9.0.0 equips developers with the capability to import and export plugin, facilitating a flexible plugin-sharing mechanism.

  • Export: export custom plugins as shareable files.
  • Import: import plugins shared by others into their Jodoo platform.

For example, import the custom plugin Send Email.

Enhancing the Limit for Calling Backend Functions

After this update, when you design custom plugins, if a backend function is called in Front-End Extension > Code, the run limit of the backend function within the frontend function will increase from one to five times during the plugin run.
