Login Activity

What is Login Activity?

Login Activity tracks members' login activity within the enterprise, including the number of members who log in, the number of logins, and detailed login records.

Admins can use this information to understand how frequently members log in, identify accounts that have not logged in for a long time, and analyze overall activity across the enterprise.

How to Filter Login Activity?

Login Activity supports the following filters:

Click + Select a member to select one or more specific members for a precise query.

Time Granularity

Display the line chart by Day, Week, or Month.

Time Range

Set a start date and an end date to view login data within a specific period.

After setting the filters, click Query to refresh the data. Click Export to export the current results.

Note: After changing the filters, click Query for the changes to take effect. Otherwise, the page will continue to display the results from the previous query.


What Can You View in Overview?

The Overview section uses metric cards and a line chart to show recent member login activity, as well as trends in the number of logged-in members and logins within the selected time range.

Monthly Login Metrics

The metric cards help you quickly see how many members have actually logged in to the system.

Note: Automatic logins are not included in Login Activity.

Description

Directory Members

Displays the number of members in Contacts who have been invited, enabled, and are currently employed. Members who are being invited, disabled, or have left the enterprise are not included.

This Month's Logged-in Users

Displays the number of members who have logged in during the current month. Multiple logins by the same member are counted only once. It also shows the increase or decrease compared with the previous month.

System Login Rate

Members Logged In This Month / Members in Contacts × 100%

Users & Times (Log in) Line Chart

The line chart shows trends in the number of logged-in members and the number of logins within the selected time range:

  • Blue line: Number of logged-in members. Multiple logins by the same member on the same day are counted as one member.

  • Green line: Number of logins. Multiple logins by the same member on the same day are counted separately.

  • Hover over a data point to view the exact values at that point, such as 2 members and 5 logins.

Data range: You can view data from the past year. By default, data from the past month is displayed.

Difference between users and login times:

  • Users: The number of unique members who logged in during the selected period.

  • Times: The total number of login actions by all members. Multiple logins by the same member are counted separately.


What Can You View in Activity Details?

Activity Details displays detailed login records in a list. You can sort the records by fields such as date and login times.

The following fields are included:

Date

The date when the login activity occurred.

Member

The member's avatar and name.

Times (Log in)

The total number of times the member logged in on that day.

Data range: You can view Activity Details from the past year. By default, data from the past month is displayed.


How to Export Login Activity Data?

Click Export in the upper-right corner to export the current filtered results as a file.

The exported data is consistent with the filtered results currently displayed on the page. Make sure the filters are correct before exporting.

Export limits: Up to 16 MB or 100,000 rows per export.


Note

  • T+1 delay: Login statistics are calculated with a T+1 delay. Activities performed today will be reflected in the statistics on the following day, so there may be a delay of approximately one day.

  • Data range: You can only view data from the past year. Historical data older than one year is unavailable.
