Update on October 16

Current Version: 11.10.0

What's New

Member Information Management Now Supports Custom Fields

Previously, member information in Contacts mainly relied on predefined system fields, making it difficult to meet different business needs for employee records.

With this update, admins can go to Management > Member Information Management > Field Settings to add and manage custom fields, such as political affiliation, direct supervisor, business approver, and professional certifications. This makes Contacts better suited to each organization's needs.

Custom fields can be used just like predefined fields when inviting members, importing or exporting Contacts, viewing member details, and managing My Profile. This makes member information more flexible to collect, maintain, and use.

Jodoo Regular Admins can now access Statistics.

Previously, Statistics was available only to Super Admins. Regular Admins had to rely on Super Admins to retrieve or export usage data for their apps.

With this update, Jodoo Regular Admins can view and export statistics for apps within their existing management scope. No additional permissions are required.

This allows business teams to independently monitor resource consumption, identify unused resources, and prepare operational reports without relying on Super Admins.

The following statistics are available:

  • Resource Usage: View resource consumption for permitted apps, including app counts, form counts, and advanced feature usage. Click metrics to view available details.

  • Admin Activity: View admin activity trends by app or review individual admin activity. Drill down into related operation logs for further analysis.

  • Member Activity: View member activity trends by app, form, or dashboard, and drill down into the corresponding activity logs.

Common Use Cases

  • Cost Allocation: Departments can review resource consumption to support cost sharing, capacity planning, and investigation of unusual usage.

  • Resource Optimization: Identify inactive apps, forms, and dashboards to support system cleanup and reduce unnecessary resource usage.

  • Daily Operations: Department admins can independently track app activity and resource usage for monthly reports and internal reviews.

Statistics now supports analysis by App Group.

Previously, admins had to identify which business unit each app belonged to before analyzing resource usage and activity across multiple apps. Now, Statistics displays App Group information, making it easier to filter, compare, and analyze apps belonging to the same department, factory, or business team. This helps organizations manage resources, allocate costs, and identify inactive apps more efficiently.

For more details, see Statistics.

  1. App Group: Added the App Group column to Resource Usage, Admin Activity, and Member Activity under View by App, with sorting support.

  2. App Information: Member Activity > View by Form/Dashboard now displays each form or dashboard's App and App Group.

  3. Customizable Columns: Use Show Fields in Activity Details to display only the metrics you need.

  4. Enhanced Exports: Exported statistics now include App Group and App names for easier analysis and reporting.

  5. Select Apps by App Group: In View by App, select an App Group to filter or select all apps within that group.

  6. App Group Information in the Resource Usage API: The Get App Resource Usage Statistics API now returns App Group information, allowing developers to group and analyze resource consumption by business area.

What's Enhanced

Custom detail pages now support Combo Charts and new page styles.

1. New Combo Chart

Custom Detail Pages now support Combo Charts. You can independently configure the left and right Y-axes using Column Charts, Line Charts, Stacked Column Charts, or Area Charts. This allows you to display metrics with different units or scales in a single chart, making it easier to compare trends and identify relationships.

For example, you can use a Column Chart to show product sales revenue and a Line Chart to show the period-over-period growth rate of gross profit. This lets you track both sales performance and gross profit growth in one chart, as shown below.

2. New Page Styles

Two new page styles are now available, offering more options to customize the appearance of Custom Detail Pages, as shown below.

Select Data to Fill Now Supports Selecting Multiple Records

When Select Data to Fill is triggered by a button in a subform, members can now select multiple records from forms, Data Streams, Aggregate Tables, and Sync Tables at once. This makes it easier to enter data in batches, link related data, and reuse existing records. It also reduces repetitive operations and manual entry errors, improving form-filling efficiency.

Single Select Now Supports Validation for the Others Option

Single Select now supports a new validation rule, When "Others" is selected, additional content is required. When enabled, members who select Others must enter additional details before submitting the form, ensuring complete and clear information.

Note: This validation rule is only available when the Others option has been added to the Single Select field.

More Fields Available in triggerContext

The triggerContext structure in Custom Plugins stores basic information about the runtime environment. With this update, five additional fields are available to improve plugin security and flexibility.
