Batch Submitting/Reviewing

Introduction

Functions

Batch Submit is a workflow submission operation on a workflow node. To be specific, it means reviewing workflow in batches..

Application Scenarios

Batch Submit is used in formalized workflows or workflows that can be judged by a simple overview. An approver can quickly review workflows in batches based on the briefing fields, without viewing each pending record. This can improve the efficiency of workflow approvals.

Preview

When you visit an app, click My Tasks and handle workflows in batches that are set to Batch submit.

Plan Description

This is an advanced function that requires the Standard or above plans. For details, see Jodoo Pricing.

Setting Procedure

Where to Set

If an approver needs to batch review workflows, the Batch Submit function needs to be enabled for workflow nodes.

Enable Batch Submit on the node where you wish to use this function.

Note: Batch Submit can only be set on a workflow node. If you want to batch submit multiple workflow nodes in the same workflow, you need to enable the function on each workflow node one by one.

How to Use

After you enable the function, an approver can batch review workflows in My Tasks in an app.

Note: The workflow center in Workspace does not support batch submitting currently.

Checkbox will not appear on nodes with Batch Submit disabled. These nodes cannot be batch submitted.

Notes

1. When an approver batch submits records, the action will not trigger form validations (including required field validation, signature, node validation), Formula, Data Linkage, and Default Value.

2. To ensure data consistency, the form does not support any data-related operations during batch submitting records.

3. A maximum of 200 workflow records can be submitted in one batch.

4. All pending workflows in the current app are displayed in My Tasks, and the node approver can only batch submitting pending workflows for which node enables the Batch Submit function.

5. Batch Submit is only available when approvers view workflows in My Tasks in certain apps. It is not available when approvers access workflows in My Tasks visited through Workspace.

6. When workflows are submitted in batches, the following reasons will lead to the failure of workflow submissions.

  • The information required to judge the flow conditions of the workflow data is not available.
  • The approver information of the next node is not available.
