Adding Data Only

Introduction

Feature(s)

For a designed form, existing data can be directly imported into the form through Excel.

Application Scenario(s)

Add Data Only is used to import data in batches.

Preview

1. Import Excel files as an admin.

Go to Manage Data, and click Import to import data.

2. Import Excel files as a member.

Access a form, switch to the permission set, in which you are granted the importing permission, and click Import to import data.

Setting Procedure

Creating a Form

Create a regular form in an app. Here are the field names and types:

After all settings are completed, click Save and go to Manage Data.

Downloading Import Template

If you select Add Data Only as the import mode, download the standard template in Jodoo and enter data into the template before importing to ensure a successful data import.

Entering Data

Enter the data that needs to be imported in the downloaded standard template.

Importing Data

Import entered data:

1. Import data on the Manage Data page as an admin.

2. Import data from permission sets in a form as a member.

Notes

1. The file can contain no more than 50,000 rows * 500 columns if member fields are not included.

2. The file with member fields can contain no more than 10,000 rows. Subform records also count toward the total number of rows.

3. Only when there are two or more fields in a subform can the data including the subform data be imported.

4. Currently, fields that are not allowed to be imported include Divider, Select Data, Query Data, and Signature.
