Starting Workflows upon Importing
Introduction

If you need to initiate multiple workflows at the same time, you can batch initiate workflows via Excel.

Preview
1. Batch initiate workflows as an admin.
Go to Manage Data and click Import. Select Add Data Only or Update and Add Data, and tick Initiate Workflow upon Import.
2. Batch initiate workflows as a member.
Select a workflow form, switch to the permission set, where you are granted the importing permission, click Import, and tick Initiate Workflow upon Import.

Setting Procedure
Editing a Form
Click the Leave Application form, and then click Edit to edit the form.
Importing Data
Go to Manage Data > Import > Initiate Workflow upon Import to import the prepared Excel.
If the member in your Excel file is not in your contacts, the system will prompt you to modify it. In this case, click Modify Failed Record and select one from your contacts.
Demonstration
Go to My Tasks to review the application workflows you just batch imported.
Note(s)
1. You can import up to 300 workflow records each time when batch importing workflows.
2. When importing workflows, you will not trigger:
- Form validation (such as required field validation and submission validation),
- Formula, data linkage, and default value acquisition,
- Automations.
3. In a workflow form, if the node after the start node of the workflow is a child workflow, and you enable Initiate Workflow upon Import when importing an Excel file, the child workflow will not be triggered after the data is imported, which means the data will stay at the start node.
4. Data of the following field types cannot be imported currently: Divider, Select Data, Query Data, and Signature.

6. Here are the importing rules for the Serial No. field:
